Operational Nomad was engaged to provide close protection for a high-net-worth individual attending Blockchain Life 2024 in Dubai, following direct threats made by a known individual.
Threat intelligence, including name, image, and background, was shared with the CP team in advance.
- Attempt 1: Threat actor attempted to approach the client within the public event space. Intercepted by Operational Nomad CP team.
- Attempt 2: Second approach made via a different route. Subject monitored and shadowed by CP.
- Attempt 3: Third approach initiated; CP team intervened and engaged venue security.
- Outcome: Subject was escorted from the venue by in-house security under our directive.
- Client remained unaware of the full extent of the threat until after debrief.
- Full operational control maintained.
